Похоже, тот самый разъём 12V-2х6, который должен заменить текущий 12VHPWR, на самом деле уже используется.
Конечно, возможно, его так ещё не называют, но начиная с GeForce RTX 4070 FE компания Nvidia использует модифицированный 12VHPWR, который отличается от оригинального смещёнными вглубь разъёма контактами. Напомним, это одно из важнейших отличий 12V-2х6 от 12VHPWR.
Такое решение приводит к тому, что разъём будет работать только тогда, когда подключён нормально и полностью.
В разъёме 12VHPWR контакты утоплены внутрь корпуса на 0,45 мм, а в 12V-2х6 — на 1,7 мм. Это касается только нижней линейки контактов.
Кроме адаптеров Founders Edition, обновлённым разъёмом теперь оснащены и видеокарты MSI. Если в модели RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio используется ещё старая версия, то уже в RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio можно обнаружить новую.
